Meet Abdulle

An educator who has spent his life helping children and families succeed. A father who knows what it means to stretch a paycheck. A Minnesotan who believes that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about service.

Born in hope, shaped by struggle, and driven by faith in people.  Abdi is building a movement that reflects the real Minnesota. Now, he’s ready to take that fight to Washington to advocate for families.

Work experience:

I currently serve as the Executive Director of a nonprofit education organization in Richfield, Minnesota, where I lead initiatives that empower students and strengthen community education. My career began in Minneapolis Public Schools, where I served as a classroom teacher, K–12 school counselor, and Advanced Academic Coordinator roles which deepened my understanding of both the challenges and potential within our public education system.

Before taking on my current leadership role, I worked directly with inner-city youth and families, helping bridge opportunity gaps and building programs that fostered academic achievement, career readiness, and civic engagement.

As a school administrator, I understand firsthand the critical role that education plays in shaping the future of our children and communities. I look forward to working closely with our School Districts and Higher Education, a strong system facing new opportunities and challenges as our community grows more diverse. With my experience, credentials, and lifelong dedication to serving families, youth, and education, I am prepared to represent and address the evolving needs of our Minnesota Congressional district. I invite your support and participation as we work together to rebuild our community for the benefit of all.
