Why I am running
For too long, Washington has served donors, not doers.
Working people, teachers, small business owners, and parents are left behind — while the cost of living climbs, housing shrinks, and politicians blame everyone but themselves.
Enough.
This campaign is about families, not factions. It is about solutions, not slogans.
When I say Educate, empower, and Elevate. I mean building a future that works for all of us.

We cannot heal families without valuing those who protect and serve our community. ~ Abdulle
We cannot grow as a community until we start growing together. ~ Abdulle
MY VISION
- Educate: Bring truth, transparency, and practical policy to the people. Slogans don’t achieve results; a leader does, and voters deserve a leaders who explain, teach, and involve real solutions.
- Empower: Shift power from the establishment group and corporate donors back to working families, first responders, teachers, nurses, parents, and small business owners.
- Elevate: Lift communities through better jobs, affordable housing, accessible and affordable healthcare, and an economy that works for everyone, not just a few.
Campaign Core: issue
A movement for working families in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District.
1. Educate – Lead with Knowledge and Integrity
- Invest in education as the foundation of freedom: universal pre-K, debt-free community college, and supporting educators.
- Demand transparency in government, corporate accountability, and evidence-based policy.
- Treat constituents as partners, not spectators, and hold monthly town hall meetings.
2. Empower – Return Power to the People
- Raise wages, strengthen unions, and expand paid family leave.
- Cap prescription drug costs.
- Senior Prescription Cost Cap – advocate for seniors with zero copay.
- Reform campaign finance by banning corporate PAC money in our community.
- Build a partnership with the local community so family members, workers, and small-business owners can directly influence our election process priorities.
3. Elevate – Build the Future Families Deserve
- Affordable homes and rent control within five years through supporting the construction of 10,000 new residences.
- Establishing a Family Equity Fund to assist first-time homeowners and develop programs and services for public service employees.
- Family Care Hubs: federal funding for local centers combining childcare, tutoring, and health clinics
- Launch a Green Jobs Corridor: clean-energy apprenticeships, solar manufacturing, home retrofits.
- Expand mental-health and childcare access so families thrive.
